An Independent Program Attorney will walk seminar attendees through topics such as the Castle Doctrine, the justified use of deadly force, where you can legally carry, what to say and expect when law enforcement arrives, and much more. Every event has dedicated question-and-answer segments to ensure all attendees are able to get the information they need from a source they can trust. This class will arm you with the knowledge to help keep you safe and on the right side of the law. On February 1st 2022 the following Range Rule will be put into effect. This change is due to Liability and Insurance. BCF&G will still offer Youth Indoor Rifle on Friday night’s @ 7:00 PM. This program is supervised with a NRA instructor.
NEW RANGE RULE: Anyone under 12 years of age, MAY NOT use the ranges or handle firearms while on the property.
Every member of BCF&G must attend a membership orientation meeting before the end of June 30, 2022. The orientation meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month starting at 9:00 AM.
Due to the club being shut down for COVID-19, the BOG’s have extended the deadline for the required Orientation Meeting until June 30, 2022. If you do not attend a meeting by this date you will not be able to use the facilities at the club.
We have been receiving phone messages complaining about us not returning phone calls. We do not have a paid staff that can spend the time returning telephone calls. The Membership Committee members all have full time occupations in addition to volunteering to perform work for the good of the club. They do make every effort to respond to emails when they can, however it is not on a regular basis.
For those of you that require immediate attention, every weekend someone from the board of governors is in the Trap Office and would be more than willing to try and help you, additionally we have a membership meeting every fourth Thursday of the month to which there is very little participation from the membership. If you attended one of these meetings, I am sure your issues could get resolved.
I look forward to seeing some of you in the coming Months at our Membership Meetings. Membership meetings are the 4th thursday of the month starting at 8:30 pm. (See calendar for times and dates)
The General Membership Meeting will be held on January 27th @ 8:30 until finished. All members are requested to wear their Membership Badge while at the meeting. New members will receive their badge at the meeting.
