Indoor Pistol

Wednesday evenings 7:00 to 8:30 Pm

Recreational pistol shooters meet most Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30P.M. at the indoor range in the clubhouse. Due to backstop limitations, we shoot 22 rim fire cartridges only – no 22 magnum or 17 calibers. The normal course of fire is 10 relays of 10 shots each, with about a 10-minute break after the 5th relay. A variety of firearm types can be seen on any given evening, including single shot, revolvers, and semi-automatics of various makes, models and barrel lengths. Sights used include open iron sights and a variety of crosshair and “dot” type scopes. While fifty-foot regulation targets are provided to participants, we do not keep track of individual scores. All participants are encouraged to use eye and ear protection anytime firing is occurring. The cost is $3.00 for club members and $5.00 for non-members. This group provides an excellent opportunity to increase your accuracy proficiency in a non-competitive environment. Come visit us on a Wednesday evening. See the Calendar for the schedule.
