The club was organized in 1894. As to how many members there were back then it is not know today, but over the years the membership has grown from 1200 back in the 1970’s to 2,800 members. At the present time the youngest member is four years old and the oldest is 100 years old and still actively comes and shoots at least once a week.
As one looks around the club grounds they would think that they are upstate rather than in a busy suburban type atmosphere. One would find that the club has more to offer than just shooting. There are several picnic benches on the grounds available for a picnic lunch and if they so desired could take in a little fishing along the Neshaminy Creek, which has plenty of bass and different type pan fish. Occasionally, you may luck out and catch a trout.
When the club has different functions going on the food kitchen will be in service. They have good food at a reasonable price. Bucks County is more than a sportsman’s paradise. It’s a place to relax and meet new friends.
